Melodic Death.
Le aperture musicali di
Ceremonial Oath, Sentenced e Carcass (solo ‘Heartwork’ 93) vengono accolte con
propositivi consensi da molte bands ed in poco tempo il Melodic Death diventa
un genere trainante del metal estremo (iniezione di riffs Maideniani nel Death
Metal di matrice svedese più fluido e meno gutturale, spesso assai distante
dalla matrice Death).
Questa è la mia personale lista
di album apprezzabili, mancano famose bands come At The Gates, Soilwork ecc.
che considero ascrivibili all’area Speed-Thrash Metal. La lista è molto lunga
in quanto conseguenza di 20 anni di ascolto ed include anche album di derivazione
Folk o Black melodico.
