Carcass - Necroticism-Descanting the insalubrious (1991)

I Carcass rientrano dopo 17 anni con il nuovo 'Surgical steel', un album che soddisferà chi ascolta metal estremo a 360 gradi ma che dirà poco a chi preferisce Death Metal pesante. 'Necroticism...' insieme ai suoi due predecessori chiude e sigilla  quella parte di carriera intransigente della band di Liverpool. In formazione entra Michael Amott che contribuirà a migliorare i brani rendendoli più tecnici e ariosi. Inevitabilmente è netta la distanza con i brani brutali dei precedenti album. Prodotto da Colin Richardson.
